DICOTA – Secure and space-saving power solution for charging trolleys

The aim of the leading supplier of computer bags, cases and IT accessories for professional use was to create a space-saving, secure and reliable solution with a quiet fan that would meet the high demands of the education and business sectors.

The charging trolley allows up to 14 laptops or 20 tablets or ultrabooks to be charged simultaneously. Thanks to adjustable parts, devices up to 16 inches can be flexibly arranged. Each device has its own space between robust ABS panels.

The electrical unit developed by MAX HAURI ensures maximum operational reliability and convenience. This includes, among other things:

• a quiet premium fan (only 12.6 dB) with optimised ventilation openings,
• internal power distribution in accordance with the international GST18 standard,
• a C14 power connection module with integrated switch and automatically resettable fuse,
• an integrated current limiter for safe operation, and the option of connecting a router via an RJ45 connection.

MAX HAURI accompanied the customers throughout the entire project – from conception and development to final implementation.
