TH strong plugs and mobile sockets: Maximum impact resistance and handy dimensions
TH strong offers resilient, handy and safe connectors and mobile sockets that have been specially developed for harsh working conditions – ideal for professional users who depend on reliability and durability.
Until now, hand-held machines in dry areas such as drills, hammer drills, angle grinders etc. have been equipped with resistant IP44 rubber plugs. With the introduction of the SN441011 standard, however, the manufacture and import of such plugs and couplings was banned and either a simple IP20 plug had to be fitted or the large IP55 variant had to be used.
For hand-operated machines in harsh environments, the IP20 plugs and couplings are rather unsuitable due to their lack of impact resistance and delicate design, and the IP55 products are not ideal due to their bulky construction.
